New federal legislation requires that our firm notify our clients of our privacy practices.
Our firm does not sell or share client information to marketers outside of our company. Therefore, you do not need to do anything to prevent it from being shared.
At our firm, we dedicate ourselves to the way individuals manage their financial lives and small businesses manage their business. In that effort, we respect and protect the privacy of those who use our services, products and web sites. Because of our role in handling your financial transactions, new federal legislation requires us to provide this description of our information collection and sharing practices. This document, effective July 1, 2001, specifically describes how we handle your nonpublic personal information and applies to services and products provided by our firm.
When you use our services, we may ask for the following types of information:
  • Information we receive from you on applications, tax preparation worksheets and other documents we use in preparing your tax returns, or discussions; and
  • Information about your transactions with us or others.

Our firm does not share your nonpublic personal information with third parties unless it is related to fulfilling the services you've asked us to perform, or as is permitted by law. The information you provide us can only be shared under limited circumstances. These include:

  • With service providers
    In some cases, we employ service providers to provide a product you order, or to fulfill a service you request. Examples include delivering products, offering online software applications, or sending data over the Internet. While this may require us to share your information, these service providers are strictly prohibited from using your information other than to act on our behalf.
  • For legal reasons
    In some cases we may be required to disclose certain information to comply with the law, an investigation, or a legal process, such as a Court Order or Subpoena.
